How do we define love ? What things can we sacrifice just for love? Why do many people suffer because of love ?
Every people are destined to meet someone that would make them feel special. Someone that would make them smile for no reason and make them cry because of joy. Love is a four letter word but has various definitions. Each people have their own definition of love. As what the old saying says,
 " Love is immeasurable ". It just makes us realize how powerful love is.  Even how many times we get hurt because of that four letter word, we can never say when will we stop loving. Love can make us done something we never expected we could do. Love make us wonder what more life could offer for us.
In our generation, even elementary students have their own understanding of love. They even enter in a relationship in an early age. But we also have the saying " In love, age doesn't matter ". It is funny to imagine children having a romantic relationship with someone.
Love, on the other hand can tempt us to do something that exceeds our limitations. The number of young parents in our country increases as the year passed by.

Because of this incident, the essence of love begin to change. The consequence of this action is really detrimental to every life of the ones involved. Some who were just 16 years old and encounters unwanted pregnancy cannot do anything but to give up their study. This leads to total destruction of their life. Some who were brave to abort their child will soon face their consequence. Love can really destroy us completely if we didn't think of our actions.
Love maybe the feeling of complete joy for us but that joy might be transformed into sorrow if we just do whatever we desires to do without thinking of its consequence. When we already done something wrong, regret will strike us late. So in order not to regret something in the end, we must know our limitations and always think to love our self fully before surrendering it to someone who doesn't deserve it.

When we see a shining thing in front of us, we get attracted to it. Its bright appearance tempts us to hold it. We cannot deny the fact that having a shining thing in our body make us feel like we are a princess. Jewelries are a quite expensive thing that everyone of us desires to have. It may be just a little thing wore in our body but it can give such a high impact in how we look like. Jewelries are in many form. We have earrings, ring, bracelet and necklace. It may also come up in different kinds, we have the gold, silver, pearl and etc.
When someone gave you a jewelry as a gift, it just mean that you are special for that person. Couples usually give their partners a jewelry to show their love for each other. When you receive a ring, it greatly mean love. That is why ring is one of the symbols of love. Despite of it's price which is not affordable for every people, we make a way to afford it to give to someone we really appreciate. When I was on elementary, I bought a 5 peso toy ring and gave it to my friend. That time, we are the best of friends and we experience a lot of things together. That 5 peso toy ring is something that symbolizes our friendship. I proved to myself that the price of the gift doesn't matters, what matters is what it symbolizes.
As we grew older, we always think if the gift that we will give to someone is expensive enough for them to appreciate. We begin to forget what that gift is really all about.

Jewelries symbolizes many things. It may symbolize wealth, power,but also love. Its price doesn't really matter, we should keep in mind is what that jewelry symbolizes for us.
Affluent people may have the money to buy such expensive jewelries but if they don't really love the person they will be giving, the jewelry despite of its price: will be meaningless.
We must appreciate every thing that people give to us, whether it is expensive or not.

When you were a child, the only thing that matters is that you're being fed, changed diapers, and an enough sleep. When you were trying to step your foot, your parents were there beside you. The world seems like a very safe place for you because your parents wouldn't allow anything bad happened to you. When you fall, they were there to catch you. When you cry,they were like tissue papers ready to wipe your tears away. As a child, you were nothing without your parents but as time goes by: from nothing you will be destined to become somebody.
A butterfly is known for it's process of development that undergoes various stages. From a caterpillar that is disliked by many, sleeps in its cocoon and later emerges as a majestic flying wonder. Humans, indeed, also undergoes various stages.
When we see a cute little girl sipping milk from it's bottle, all that we think is that she doesn't know anything about the world where she exists. As that little girl begin to walk and murmur word, the real world starts to open for her. She will soon get hurt by forcing herself to walk and will be able to speak the words she wanted to say. As that girl begin to study, her urge to know the things that surrounds her increases. She will begin to ask numerous questions and those should be answered correctly. As she reach teenager, the world will be more complex for her. She will embark to feel admiration and later evolves into love. As we all know, love is really something that brings us joy but sometimes pain. She will face many trials but it will help her to mold into a better individual.

Like a butterfly, this girl also undergo various stages. From a toddler to a teenager and to a woman whose dream is just an inch away from her.
This stages we undergo in life wanted to imply to us that soon you will be like a butterfly that astonishes every people who see you and will fly freely no matter what hinders you.

Hair is said to be the crowning glory for every woman. In our modern technology, there are lot of ways for us to attain our ideal hair. In advertisements, shampoo and conditioners are always offered. There are also some hair treatments that was recommended for us, such us rebond, cellophane,extension etc. If you have a very curly hair, it is not impossible to make that a fine straight hair.

Everyone will agree with me when I say that having a beautiful shoes to walk with make us excited to wherever we wanted to go. Shoes really increases our poise and uplifts our personality. When we go the mall, one of the stalls we never forget to visit is of course the stalls where we can have a glimpse to the latest styles of sandals, boots, snickers etc. Even though we don't have the money to afford such beautiful shoes, we get contented on seeing them. Because of our desire to own the shoes we really dream to have, we even demean those who sell imitations. But the important thing is that we get it in a noble way and not by committing any crime. Shoes, indeed is really something each of us dream to have. Just like dresses, shoes also represents a part of us. Shoes has many types, from flats, to sneakers, to sandals, to wedge heels, to boots and to stilettos. If we compare the foot wears of the early times and the foot wears of today, we can see such an enormous difference. The first known foot wear is the Fort Rock Cave (see the picture below).

For me, I also dream of having a collection of shoes someday. I always feel the frustration when I see shoes that I really dream to have but was not able to avail them. When I already have a job and gain enough profit, I will begin to make my dreams not just a dream.
Shoes are intended to protect and comfort our feet from various activities that we perform. Shoes is really an important equipment everyone of us must have.

 Hey! I am Shiela Mae Dela Cruz and this is my first time to make a blog. Our teacher asks us to make a blog and choose 10 topics and a catchy column name. At first, I find it hard but I learned that if you begin to love what you're doing, things will come up easily. As for my first topic, I will discuss about clothes (as shown at the pictures above).
To face people is one of the predicaments every individual has to go through. As for me, I really have this fear when I am with the people whom I don't really know. Maybe because we are not aware of what these people might think of us, and the best weapon we could have is CONFIDENCE. But how could we gain this confidence?
When I'm in high school, I don't really care about how I look I like. My topic is really in contrast with my personality because I'm not really into fashion but when I enter college, I began to realize that I have to change for I'm not a child already and things become more complex. I am taking up Technical Education and it is really impossible that I can prevent myself from meeting various people.
Some say that dressing up is a form of expressing ourselves. It is a mirror-like that reflects who we are. I agree with this statement because dressing is something that really identifies us. If a person dresses herself appropriately, it just means that the person is someone to be respected.
But the question is, how could we dress appropriately? First, we should know the clothes that suits our personality. Clothes that could make us feel comfortable. As for me, I prefer blouses, trousers and skirts. The most important thing is that we know how to fix ourselves using the dresses that we prefer.
There are also things that we should keep in mind in dressing ourselves. One is, the occasion. Of course we cannot wear clothes which we know exposes our body like short shorts or mini skirts when the occasion we will attend is a mass. When we are going to a party, of course we can wear something which make us look more attractive. Some of these clothes are dresses, skirts etc. When our occasion to be attended is a formal one, like weddings, or seminars we must dress formal too. Some of the clothes which can make us look formal are, dresses also, trousers with a good top and coats for men.
Another factor in dressing ourselves is the weather. In the Philippines, we have 2 seasons. The dry season (summer) and the rainy season. The reason why we should keep this in mind is for us to know the clothes that suits in our weather. For example, in the month of March, which is usually the hottest month of the year, people usually go in the beaches to ease the hotness. So obviously, people tend to wear clothes that will make them feel fresh. It is very ironic if you will wear jacket in that kind of weather. As well in the rainy season, we couldn't wear swim suits or the like because the weather is cold.
Confidence is really something we should aim to have. If we have the confidence, we can make ourselves known. Dressing properly is one way to prove to others how confident we are. And it would help us a lot to pursue whatever we dream to be. As for me, I want to make a name for myself and having this knowledge would aid me in accomplishing it. But of course, God should be the center of our life because he will guide us in whatever things we do.
